Write Connections Is Discontinued

The Corporation for Educational Technology (Buddy) received word a few days ago that funding for our programs has been terminated, effectively immediately. Thank you for your participation in one or more program offerings over the long life of our project. As you may know, Buddy was first launched in 1988 and has been funded by the Indiana General Assembly since 1991. Over the 21+ years of history, we are gratified to have positively enhanced the lives of thousands of Indiana students, teachers, families and other community members.

Also, The Buddy Teaching and Learning Center is now officially closed. Please accept our apologies to those of you who had registered for upcoming classes. We are making every effort to transfer ownership and/or content of our program websites to suitable institutions. In case this effort is not successful, we encourage you to download, save or otherwise capture any content or resources from the BuddyProject.org and TheWritingSite.org that you find useful, since these sites will likely be taken down by the end of November.
